EASTER 2013
We spent the morning of Easter at the Zoo.This was an first for our family but not only was this the first but it was Toby's first Easter as well. The weather was a little damp but it was actually nice.We arrived when the zoo opened(exactly)and we decided in the parking lot that we were going to buy the family membership(BIG DECISION)!
We seen on the news that morning after opening our Easter baskets (pics later)from the Easter bunny that the Zoo was having an Easter Egg Hunt for only $10 per person.I usually am the parent that takes Zachary and Shane is at work well NOT this time we went as an family. It turned out to be where you look for an Egg shaped sign of an pattern and then you turn it in at the end and you get an pencil(sorry but my son was BUMMED).We did have a FUN time looking for the hidden and not so hidden signs.Toby was having a great time and I felt at peace with my family and the thought that Shane put into taking us.All he said to Zachary was get dressed and ready fast and we are leaving, luckily I had time to shower and throw my hair up .
I was so shocked by all the animals that were out and walking around and waiting to be fed. Some were being lazy bones, don't blame him though Sundays are lazy days made for relaxing.
The penguins were HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY,they were being let out and their area was being cleaned some of them would come out and then hurry in for a swim and then back into the bed they went.
Here is one of the Walrus's,they both were giving BIG kisses to us.How cute, but I will pass.
The Tiger was on the prowl and I have to say this is the closest I have ever been to an Tiger.Zachary brought along his camera to get his own photos and I have to say he did get some better ones then we did.
The flamingos color was gorgeous!!!
Sorry for the OVERLOAD of pictures and being so late.I seriously do not have much time to sit here and type.Toby is teething really bad he is refusing to eat from the spoon and that means more bottles and waking up 2xs at night.I also apologize for the typos BC its hard when you are typing so fast before an baby wakes up and he likes to take the keyboard from me.
A lot has been going in here at Meadow Creek from more farm animals, life changes, changes that I am trying hard to put forward and fighting the mommy blues as well.Sort of Unschooling thoughts as well.I know that is big.
And I want to give an BIG thanks to you know who for sending me not only 1 big box of Boyd's Bears but 2 boxes. Thanks
